Location: Remote / Hybrid (Various locations)

The Vision

We are looking for individuals who find joy in the "Aha!" moment and believe that no subject is too complex if broken down with empathy and logic.
Who We Are Looking For
We hire for potential as much as provenance. Whether you are a seasoned educator or a high-achieving student looking for your first role, we evaluate candidates based on the AIE Framework:
Aptitude: You have a deep, intuitive grasp of STEM subjects (Math, Bio, Chem, Physics, or CS). You don't just know the formulas; you know the "why."
Interest: You are genuinely curious. You read science news for fun and love exploring how things work.
Empathy: You remember what it felt like to be confused. you can meet a student where they are without judgment.
Your Pathway to Mastery
We provide a clear career ladder based on your current experience level:
1. The Apprentice Pathway (Low/No Experience)
Who: Students or recent grads with high GPAs/test scores but no formal teaching history.
The Journey: You will start as an Associate Tutor. You’ll shadow Niam or Anish in sessions, learn the "Abey Acceleration Method," and handle foundational subjects while receiving direct mentorship.
The Goal: Transition to independent tutoring within 3–6 months.
2. The Professional Pathway (Experienced Tutors)
Who: Individuals with 1+ years of tutoring, teaching, or TA experience.
The Journey: You will start as a Senior Tutor, managing your own roster of students and contributing to our custom curriculum development.
The Goal: Moving toward a Lead Mentor role or specialized Workshop Instructor.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, 1-on-1 virtual or in-person tutoring sessions in your core STEM strengths.
Simplify complex concepts using analogies, visual aids, and the Abey Bros "Lateral Thinking" model.
Provide encouraging feedback and "Success Roadmaps" for students and parents.
Participate in monthly "Brain Trust" meetings with Dr. Angela Anandappa to discuss pedagogical strategies and professional growth.
Requirements
For Experienced Tutors: A portfolio of student success or 1+ years of formal instruction.
For New Tutors: A strong academic record (Transcripts or standardized test scores) and a 5-minute "demo lesson" on a topic of your choice.
A reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional quiet space for sessions.
The "X-Factor": A desire to change the way STEM is taught.
